The City Of Angels

Hollywood stars, the TV movie industries, and gorgeous beaches all make L.A a famous city and a popular vacation spot.

It’s downright overwhelming when you think about how to pack Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the beach cities, and everything in between into one trip.

It’s no secret that L.A. is one of most sprawling cities in the world, making it impossible to see all, or even most of it in one trip and many visitors try to do it.

Los Angeles is famous for its beautiful year-round weather. During the summer months, temps can climb to levels that compel visitors and Angelenos alike to seek relief.

You won’t have to pack your snow boots (unless you want to go skiing at nearby Big Bear), and most nights are fine with just a jacket. Unlike some of the desert cities, L.A also tends to cool off at night, making it easy to get a good night’s rest.

One of the most fun things to do in Southern California is bike ride on the Santa Monica beach path. The Marvin Braude Bike Trail aka The Strand is a 35km bike track that connects many L.A’s best beaches and offers the best day of coastal bike riding that anyone could ask for. Starts at Will Rogers State Beach and travels through all of the South Bay beach communities and 2 harbors: Marina del Rey and King Harbor at Redondo Beach.

You are never far from a Hollywood celebrity or two in L.A. For a glimpse of the stardust on which the city’s built, stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where more than 2,6000 of the entertainment world’s most illustrious names are immortalized in pink terrazzo and gold lettering. For film fanatics, the famous hand and footprints at the Chinese Theatre are a requisite stop-though the tourist-choked area leaves much to be desired. Countless galas, premieres and award ceremonies have passed through over the decades and although it may not all be quite as glitzy as you imagined, Hollywood still has its charms.

Los Angeles sets the standard for world-class nightlife with extravagant spaces, exciting new themes and vibrant décor. Venues spare no expense to draw the hottest crows, and promoters work tirelessly to book top international DJs and music headlines to entertain party-goes every night.

The night life scene in L.A is a playground for the celebrity set, and stylish tastemakers start the latest trends in fashion on red carpets and dance floor at L.A’s hottest venues. Dance clubs, live music and comedy venues, cocktail lounges and sports bars – the list of places to enjoy after-dark excitement in Los Angeles is endless.

Thanks to movies, Tv dramas and reality shows, chances are you might feel you have some good idea of what Beverly Hills looks like even if you’ve never been there.

Surrounded by the City of Angels and West Hollywood, Beverly Hills is one of the most enigmatic and posh places you will ever encounter.

Beverly Hills started out as a modest lima bean ranch. Originally a Spanish ranch where lima beans were grown, Beverly Hills was incorporated in 1914 by a group of investors who had failed to find oil.

Home to many world renowned celebrities, Beverly Hills catches the eye instantly. Giving out the perfect combination of luxury and fun. A paradise for shopping lovers, Beverly Hills makes sure that the place becomes your heaven.

An incredible diverse city, L.A. offers opportunities to discover the cuisines, festivals and culture of the many communities that make it such a rich tapestry. Neighborhoods such as Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Little Ethiopia and Koreatown offer plenty of great food, as well as museums, galleries, shopping and educational opportunities.

Los Angeles is a Foodie’s paradise. There is an endless list of amazing places to eat, that contains cuisine from virtually all backgrounds. If you want to experience some of the best cooking in the world, and or impress your date it won’t be hard, just take them to Beverly Hills or Hollywood. Lunchtime is always something to look forward to thanks to in LA thanks to the hundreds of addicting food trucks that are spread out throughout the city.

As I said before you can’t see this extended city in just one trip, so take it easy and enjoy the road!
